Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Refik mobile application (the “App”) operated by İsmet Ömer Koyuncu (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Refik is a social goal-tracking application that allows users to create personal and group goals, track completions, earn XP and achievements, and interact with other users through social features including following, groups, and leaderboards.
3. User Accounts
To use the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Create fake accounts or engage in identity deception
- Attempt to manipulate the XP, level, or achievement systems
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
5. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of İsmet Ömer Koyuncu. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (goals, profile information, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information.
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and Firebase Crashlytics. These services have their own terms and policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall we be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the App.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
