This Privacy Policy describes how Refik ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, username, first name, and last name.
- Profile Information: You may optionally provide a profile picture (avatar).
- Goal Data: We store the goals you create, completion history, streaks, and XP earned.
- Social Data: Information about your followers, followings, group memberships, and interactions with other users.
We also collect automatically:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notification delivery.
Note: We do not collect precise location data, device advertising IDs, or any other tracking identifiers for advertising purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App
- Send push notifications for goal reminders, follow requests, and group invitations
- Calculate XP, levels, streaks, and achievements
- Enable social features (following, groups, leaderboards)
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring that only authorized users can access their data. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
Push notification tokens are stored and managed through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With other users as part of normal App functionality (your profile, goals, and progress are visible based on your privacy settings)
- With service providers (Supabase, Firebase) who assist us in operating the App
- If required by law or to protect our legal rights
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access and update your profile information at any time through the App settings
- Control your privacy by setting your account to private
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
- Opt out of push notifications through your device settings
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
